Pokémon has just presented his own multiverse

Vines Pokémon has introduced its own type of multiverse with the most recent episode of the anime. Fans outside of Japan are currently waiting for the release of the next batch of episodes for Pokémon Master Journeys in Netflix, but the new episodes are transmitted weekly in Japan. In fact, this month the series started a special two-part event that celebrates the launch of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl with the return of the Singh region and the favorite characters of fans such as Dawn, Cynthia and more after their Return at the beginning of the year. However, this time there was a turn.

Ash & Dawn in the Multiverse of Madness - Pokemon Journeys Episode 89 Review

The most recent episode of the series also brought the legendary Di alga and Polka de Sinnoh, and just as fanatics viewed them in the past, the two legendary start a battle that begins to destroy the fabric of time and space. This creates a series of doors between two different universes where one is completely devoid of Pokemon, since the displacement of time has evolved all to their original eggs along with all kinds of strange turns of another world.

The franchise has confirmed the idea of a multiverse in the past with the introduction of spatial doors and WARP along subsequent additions of the franchise, but episode 89 of Pokémon Journeys makes this idea the focal point when Di alga and Polka begin to quarrel. The doors begin to be opened in the Singh region, and Dawn is soon face to face with a version of the alternative universe that confuses Dawn's pickup with his. After crossing a door, Dawn discovers that this other world has many other differences.

There are small differences, such as this alternative world Dawn occupies the second place in the SINPO Lisa instead of participating in Pokemon contests, and great differences, as time moves very differently. Soon it is revealed that it is because Di alga distort time, and with him, he has an effect that makes Pokemon forget all his movements and eventually return them all before level 1. But this is just the first episode that explores this new Wild universe that even includes a new Ash too!

What you think? Do you think that the idea of an existing multiverse within Pokemon should expand more? What would you like to see from a more developed multiverse for the anime?
